SARDA Cape Town

Special Needs Schools from all over Cape Town bring learners to SARDA on a weekly basis. For individuals from the age of 7 wishing to be included in our programme, and who do not attend our feeder schools, we offer a space in the afternoons after a selection process based on medical and availability guide lines.

Anyone can apply to be put onto our waiting list. Please download the application form or call the SARDA office to be sent one. Once completed our Senior Instructor will assess your form and will inform you if your application was successful.

SARDA is located in Brommersvlei Road, Constantia. SARDA’s location promotes inclusion and has convenient access to schools and beneficiaries to our therapeutic programme.

Application Process

Once your name has been added to the waiting list you are eligible to be considered for any spot that might become available. Our Senior Instructor matches the applications to the opening according to age and disability/ability.

Once you have been given a riding opportunity you may be part of the program for a maximum of 2 years (some conditions apply). Please note that when you have completed the two years you are welcome to apply again to be put onto the waiting list.

For Schools to become part of SARDA’s Riding Program please download the School Form, fill it in and send it to capetown@sarda.co.za.
